Kipepeo Community Empowerment Program (KCEP)

Fund Raising

KCEP's current monetary and non-monetary support is largely derived from membership contributions by participating villagers, volunteerism, partner sponsorship, and grants.

We appreciate online donations from the public in support of one of our many initiatives!

Plans are under way to set up income-generating projects which involve local computer and copy/print centers, as well as pottery and art sales.

KCEP's Needs

Aside from monetary resources and the income generated by our programs, KCEP has many basic needs in the form of material donations to be used in carrying out (1) our youth and child care programs, and (2) our day-to-day administrative duties.

Below is a rough list of items we would be grateful to receive via donations:

- Children's clothing and shoes

- Computers and printers

- Bedding, household items (especially wash basins and plastic buckets)

- Soap, washcloths, towels

- Any and all feminine hygiene items

- Pencils, pens, felt pens and markers, notebooks, crayons

- Flip charts, white boards/writing boards, erasable markers

- Used 35 mm cameras and digital cameras with picture cards for documenting our work in the KCEP's blog.
